TESTIMONIALS
“It’s cool and light. Not too loud. Comfortable color (especially if you want people who come into your office to feel “chill”... shoutout to raging parents or intimidated students).”
“I will definitely recommend you to my friends. I’m also excited to see their reactions when they see the dining room.”
EASY TIPS FOR A HEAVENLY BATH
Stress is common to everyone, and liked by no one. How do we get that spa-like experience in our own bath?
I always imagine myself relaxing in a hot shower with a high pressure spray raining down on me! Before we even talk about showers, what are the main essentials that we need to have a relaxing bath?
First and foremost, if you are still in the process of building your bathroom, place a niche or ledge! Make it as wide as you can afford! You'll need the space and the sleek design of this simply makes it drool-worthy!
What if you already have a bath and have no intentions of renovating at the moment? Buy a shower caddy. That's the very least. I've stayed in a few Airbnb's that don't provide either! Think of function. Where will you put your shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the like?
Second, place some baskets for your extra toilet paper. Or you can use a ledge. You do have a toilet roll holder, right? If you don't, now's the time to place one.
Third, have a small tray for your toiletries near the sink. Just like in the bath, all your beauty products or manly products for those men out there need a proper container to look neat and tidy! Don't stay in the bath section. Try looking at ceramic or porcelain trays in the home area of your department store. This will be cheaper and still look amazing!
If you have a tub, need I say more? Yes, again, a niche, basket or tray will make your products look better and easier to clean as well.
I believe in stimulating the senses for a more enjoyable and relaxing bath. Use scented candles or diffusers for an enhanced bath experience. Use lavender for relaxation or an apple scent for a fruity energizing day.
Lastly, play some tunes! A cool way is for this Kohler Moxie shower head that incorporates the speaker in the shower. Another way is to simply put some bluetooth speakers and play from your phone.
This is why going to the spa is always a peaceful and idealistic experience! It's the combination of sight, sound and smell that adds to the scene. So why not try this in your own bath? You'll come to love it!

LOVE AND 2 BATHROOMS
Find out how to have a better marriage with two bathrooms!
Keeping it real with all my toiletries displayed :)
Having lived in a small apartment a few years back, we had two bathrooms, one of which is near our bedroom on the second floor and the other as powder room/maid's bathroom.
The disadvantage of sharing a bathroom is when the call of nature happens to both of you at the same time. Unfortunately, this happens more often than not!
You also need to schedule baths and though it does not really take me an hour to shower, it means the other person is waiting for you to finish. If both of you are working, you have to be exact with your timing.  In the event that you have school-aged kids as well, this adds even more pressure to finishing your business quickly. Therefore, when we finally had the chance to build our own home, I had a wonderful dream where we all had separate bathrooms!
Of course, I also wanted to have my dream bathroom! I have my whirlpool tub, my rainshower with extra sprays, my wide countertop sink perfect for all my toiletries, and that gorgeous faucet I was eyeing.
Similarly, my husband likes a strong rain shower head and a huge shower area. He wants a masculine design with a concrete like tile finish.
Is it all we ever hoped for? Definitely! As a married couple, we have the same bedroom. Usually, you compromise with the design style to suit both parties but with separate bathrooms, we get to have some privacy and have our own unique styles as well.
Most important of all, having separate bathrooms means we can use it at the same time!
If you can afford to do so, separate bathrooms are heaven. If not, you can have dual sinks, dual showers (if you like showering together). I recommend an enclosure for the toilet area so you have some privacy while your better half is using the sink or the shower.
If space allows, this is one recommendation that will certainly be worth the splurge! Are you inspired to do the same? Or dream the same?
